EDRA KOREA, ‘Block-chain Mobile Game’ Expected to Launch

EDRA KOREA, a block-chain developing firm based on a mobile platform, will revitalize the mobile game industry by combining block-chain technology and mobile games with The Korea Mobile Games Association as stated on May 9^th.

EDRA KOREA has recently launched a new concept block-chain platform EDRA App as a hub that can be used by more than 100 small and medium-sized game developers, and plans to maximize mutual profit through game launching.

Also, EDRA KOREA’s Block Chain Development Research Center plans to develop and launch a mining game based on 'Logical Sharing Mining Block-chain'. EDRA KOREA has opened and tested the Prototype of Frog Prince, the world's first mining casual game based on logical mining sharing block-chain, and plans to launch it officially after the closed beta test. Also, by the end of this year, they will launch an additional 3-4 mobile games on the EDRA platform.

As a result, smartphone users will be able to play games through the EDRA platform while mining EDRA Coins, which will enable payment of phone charges in the future. Smartphone charges liberalization era is on the verge of beginning.

On May 16^th, EDRA KOREA signed a MOU with The Korea Mobile Games Association to improve the soundness of the block-chain business and to provide technical support projects for promising small and medium game developers. EDRA KOREA and the Korea Mobile Games Association decided to organize a TFT to discuss practical measures and revitalize the mobile game platform based on block-chain.

EDRA App is a new concept block-chain platform that can mine EDRA Coins through daily activities such as searching information, gaming, listening to music. EDRA Coin is a mobile device cryptocurrency developed by the original technology of ‘logical sharing mining block-chain’ instead of problem solving operation mode. It is an innovative block-chain distribution technology that detects actions and mines coins when the user plays games, listens to music, surfs the web, and etc. In the second half of the year, the EDRA embedded exclusive phone will be launched, and coin mining with EDRA phone will become available.

EDRA KOREA CEO Jungyu Kwak says, “Mobile game companies are expected to become a new revenue generating model by using EDRA, a mobile mining platform based on block chain, as a hub.” He also stated that, “Later on when the mined EDRA Coins can be mutually exchanged with company points, game money, and etc., various real economic profit model will be possible.”

Meanwhile, EDRA held a technical seminar on ‘Distinction from existing block-chain technology' and 'Business roadmap to be developed at domestically and internationally' on May 17^th.
